A new venue for me and what a day!

Thirsk Lodge Barns is an amazing setting, the day flows so well as guests use different parts of the venue throughout the day.

The adjoining cottage was where I met Annalise, her bridesmaids, her mum and mother in law to be as they got ready throughout the morning.

I spent the morning photographing hair, makeup and dancing….. perfect.

I had time to meet the guys for a few photos over a couple of beers for dutch courage before it was back to the cottage for the final details and brilliant bridal reveal to the bridesmaids.

The ceremony took place in the main barn which has a wonderful long aisle which enabled the bride to allow her to have her brother and dad walk her to the front, changing half way down.

After a great ceremony and indoor confetti the newleyweds joined their guests in the bar for drinks and nibbles. Group photos followed in the courtyard and I then took Annalise & Luke for couples photos before it was time to be seated in the dining room.

I really enjoyed capturing the great speeches that took place. Heartfelt and funny in equal measure.

The day then became night, extra guests arrived and following the cutting of the cake it was time to dance the night away to some amazing live music.
